British Academy of Jewellery Now Offering Sponsorships for International Students Pursuing Jewellery Degree

The British Academy of Jewellery (BAJ) is delighted to announce we can now sponsor international students who wish to apply for a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Jewellery Design & Production.

Recognising the importance of fostering global talent and diversity within the jewellery industry, BAJ has committed to providing visa sponsorship to eligible international students enroling in its innovative BA (Hons) programme. This sponsorship opportunity aims to remove barriers to support aspiring jewellery designers from around the world in accessing world-class education and training.

“We are excited to extend our support to talented individuals from across the globe who have a passion for jewellery design,” said Sharjeel Nawaz, Principal at the British Academy of Jewellery. “Our BA (Hons) programme offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to nurture creativity, technical skills, and industry knowledge. Through these sponsorships, we aim to empower international students to pursue their academic and professional dreams in jewellery design.”

The BA (Hons) Jewellery Design & Production programme at BAJ encourages innovation, while providing students with a unique blend of practical skills and theoretical understanding essential for success in the jewellery industry. Under the guidance of experienced tutors and industry professionals, students explore various techniques, materials, and design concepts while gaining insights into contemporary trends and business practices.

Current BA students have engaged in many exciting projects, such as the ‘Welcome to London’ project, the ‘Love Letter To’ Valentine’s exhibition and sale, and the groundbreaking Fine Jewellery Project with luxury jewellery house Graff.

International students interested in applying for sponsorship are encouraged to visit the BAJ website for more information on eligibility criteria and application procedures. The application deadline for the upcoming academic intake is 21st October via UCAS Extra and Clearing.
