UCAS Clearing may be an unexpected and confusing process, but BAJ are here to help answer any questions you may have. Even if you’ve changed your mind about your preferred course, or your results don’t go as you expected, it does not mean that you have run out of options – Clearing can help you find an alternative pathway.
What is UCAS Clearing?
UCAS Clearing is an opportunity to match applicants to university places that are yet to be filled after 30th June. It is available to anyone who wants to apply for a course and doesn’t hold any offers, doesn’t want the places they’ve been offered, were unsure about university during the first round of applications and didn’t apply or those who missed their required conditions. BAJ offers spots that can be filled through Clearing for our BA (Hons) Jewellery Design and Production course.
When Does Clearing Open?
The official opening date for Clearing in 2024 is the 5th July, when students can have a look at their options before A-level results day on 15th August.
